There is a cruise in the late afternoon, we propose a sunset
cruise.
We make our way under sail in the south-east shallow part
of the lagoon until the sun sets. It is also the opportunity
to sip a cocktail while watching the magnificent sun vanish
behind the barrier reef.
We sail back peacefully in order to take advantage of the
last sun rays and the first sparkles of stars. The Southern
Cross can be seen in winter from April till September. The
tropical climate of these latitudes often gives very colourful
sunsets. It is neither a myth nor a legend when we speak about
the beauty of Bora Bora sunsets.
The sight does not end there because once a month just above
the motus, the moon appears, enormous and bright. Then the
lagoon glitters with silvery reflections.
